Poor hammer continued.....
The kid pitches my bag at the unknown hero's truck AND SMASH!!!! it hits his windsheild, flies open and then falls under his truck,he drags it and then it flips up behind the back tires and I see my $50 Swiss chasing hammer hit another car's hood and that's all she wrote.....he ran over it and the bag .....it broke the handle, but the head stayed attached to what was left of it (oh those Swiss and their commendably made tools) During this, the unknown hero has grabbed the kid,you can hear sirens(somebody called 911)and there's all kinds of people stopped in the street and me running and yelling like some escapee from the psycho ward(which by the way is just 2 blocks away)and if you look over, you can see the original kid (the butt smacker)heading on the bikelane into Juarez(probably laughing his ass off)
Somebody taps me on the shoulder(which brings me back to reality and PUNCH mode)and I scare the heck out of some teenage girl who is pointing to the street and asking "Miss?? what's that????" I look over and in the road are a ZILLION copper jump rings,GLITTERING in the spring sunshine.....like little jewels
be back soon (I Promise)

Well I popped over to say thanks for visiting and now you have me entertained....
I laughed.. sorry.. at your expense and I don't even know you! haha.. glad you are alright,,and grudgingly glad the kid did not get run over...but sounds like some catastrophe that would happen to me.. sans the zillions of little copper jump rings glittering in the road!! You certainly do it with style...
Your story reminds me that a kid once tried to steal my friends bag.. and this poor old [very old] returned services man stopped the kid in his tracks!!! hooray for old guys...
now I need to hear the rest... thanks again.. xx Julie

Hi Sharon! I'm afraid this is the only way that I can find to respond to you, I hope you're picking these up now and then! I want to thank you for your sweet comment . . . and you tell a mean story, bytheway! The Somerset Studio article? I'm mentioned, but my project ended up on the cutting room floor . . . sigh . . . and, Oh MY! Your project was just heart wrenching!
Our article begins on page 34, Unexpected Connections, it is titled, by Dede Warren. I would love to bump into you again! It's always so much fun meeting kindreds! By all means come by again! ~Debbi

Thanks for stopping by and entering my giveaway. I'll be back for the end....
Hi Sharon :)! Quite the adventure your bag, your rings and you had that fateful day! I know how time consuming making those rings can be, and when you mentioned them glittering in the sun...all 4000000000000000 of them, all over the road, my heart stopped lol. Glad at least that you weren't hurt in any way. Ah, the free bridge...those were the days for me lol!
I miss my EP!
